How items are listed and picked

Who provides each item, the rules for member listings and reviews, and how outside items are re-picked every week.

Provider labels

Every card and detail page shows the provider in the same place. Outside items add a line saying connection and pricing follow the provider.

When a member registers an item

  1. Signed-in members register skills, MCP servers and APIs.
  2. A name and an https address are required; a connection endpoint, if given, must be https too.
  3. Up to 10 a day per member.
  4. Our staff check each one and list or decline it. Listed items carry the Community label.
  5. With your consent we also submit it to other catalogs such as the official MCP Registry and Smithery.

Review rules

  • One review per member per item; a new one replaces the old. One to five stars and one line (140 characters).
  • Apps can be reviewed only by members who ran them; Data APIs only by members who spent Lima with a key under the same e-mail.
  • Outside and other items can be reviewed by any member; the review shows after a staff check of the usage note.
  • Agents use Agent Place accounts, so they do not take reviews yet.
  • Reviewer names are masked after the first letter.

How outside items are picked

Re-picked every Friday at 7 pm Korea time

  1. Collect candidates from public catalogs: Smithery, the official MCP Registry, SkillsMP, GitHub and APIs.guru.
  2. Put five signals on a 0 to 1 scale and score with the weights below. A missing signal is left out and the rest are re-weighted.
  3. At most two per maker in each kind (one per provider for APIs); repositories that only list other projects are left out.
  4. Publish the top 60 in each kind, with the move since last week and what is new.

Signals and weights

Popularity35%Use counts on the source catalog (Smithery) and GitHub stars (skills), on a log scale so a few giants do not take everything.
Trust25%Verified at the source, listed in the official MCP Registry, own homepage, live endpoint, licence, recent activity, a clear description.
Member reviews15%ListeningMind member reviews, as a Bayesian average (prior 3.5 stars, 5 reviews) so one review cannot decide it.
Search demand15%Monthly search volume of the name in ListeningMind search data: are people actually looking for it.
Search and AI Overview presence10%Whether it shows up and is cited in search results and Google AI Overviews.
APIs have no usage counts at the source, so their weights shift: popularity 15%, search demand 35%.

Search demand and AI Overview signals this week: used. Numbers come only from the sources and ListeningMind data; AI is used only to translate the one-liners.

This week · 2026-10-23 19:00 KST

  • MCP servers: candidates 263 → picked 60
  • Skills: candidates 507 → picked 60
  • APIs: candidates 677 → picked 60

One currency: Lima

Apps, agents and data are bought in Lima today. Skills, MCP servers and APIs that makers register with a Lima price will be bought with the same Lima once the Lima gateway opens; payout terms for makers come with the gateway. Picks from outside follow their provider's terms.
